Job Description

The Silo Operator is key in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of silos used for bulk materials storage. The ideal candidate will ensure proper handling of materials and maintain equipment in good working order, contributing to seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to optimise workflow.
• Conduct regular inspections of silos and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Generate reports on material handling and equipment status.
• Facilitate training sessions on safe silo operations and equipment handling.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent certificate
• Technical qualification in agriculture or materials handling is a plus

Experience

• Experience with handling bulk materials preferred
