The Manufacturing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our production processes. This position involves assisting with equipment setup, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Monitor production lines for any issues or irregularities.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and conduct maintenance when necessary.
Assist in quality control to ensure all products meet quality standards.
Support the production manager in achieving production targets.
Engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
Keep detailed records of production and inventory.
Contribute to team meetings, sharing insights on how to enhance productivity.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant vocational training in manufacturing or a related field is a plus
Experience
1-3 years of experience in assembly or production roles.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of Manufacturing Equipment
Soft Skills
Ability to Work in a Team Environment
Certifications
Lean Manufacturing Principles Certification
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Forklift Certification: Prior experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is a plus.
Experience in Inventory Management: Practical experience with stock control systems.
