As a Drag Seiner, your role will involve operating and maintaining fishing gear specifically designed to catch fish using a large seine net. You will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure safe and efficient fishing operations on the ocean.
Responsibilities
Lead the operation of seine nets during fishing trips.
Train new crew members on the proper use of fishing gear.
Implement measures for sustainability in fishing practices.
Ensure a high level of sanitation on board the fishing vessel.

Requirements
Education
Valid skipper's license or equivalent certification
First aid and CPR certification, preferred
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in fishing operations with specific experience in seine fishing.
