Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. You will conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive financial analysis to support business strategy.
• Develop financial models and analytic tools to assist with decision-making.
• Report on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance.
• Identify key performance indicators and benchmark against industry standards.
• Assist in financial planning and risk management processes.
• Prepare and present financial summaries to senior management.
• Support the finance team in addressing ad-hoc financial queries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of financial analysis experience

• Power BI
• Financial Reporting

Certifications

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SQL: Familiarity with SQL for financial data manipulation.
• Certification in Financial Planning: Preferred certification in financial planning or related area.
