Environmental Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and executing sustainable projects, conducting environmental assessments, and developing strategies to mitigate environmental impacts. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for promoting sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend solutions for environmental issues per project requirements.
• Coordinate with the project managers to ensure incorporation of best environmental practices.
• Monitor project progress and maintain alignment with environmental guidelines.
• Liaise with clients to understand their environmental needs and expectations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Sciences is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental engineering or related role

• EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Certification
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Languages
