We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing sustainable engineering practices, conducting environmental impact assessments, and contributing to projects that enhance environmental quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyse environmental data and prepare reports.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate environmental considerations.
• Review project plans for environmental sustainability.
• Perform ecological assessments and biodiversity studies.
• Identify and recommend mitigation measures for environmental impacts.
• Ensure best practices in waste management and pollution control.
• Prepare grant proposals for environmental research projects.
• Conduct community outreach to promote sustainability.
• Stay updated on environmental legislation and trends.
• Conduct research on emerging environmental technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or engineering
