Job Description

We are in search of a Cybersecurity Specialist to enhance our security measures, protect sensitive information, and respond to incidents promptly. As part of our innovative team in Cape Town, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security strategies, and conducting risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Implement advanced security measures including firewalls.
• Perform vulnerability scans and security audits.
• Enhance incident response strategies.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure regulations are met.
• Manage security software updates and patches.
• Provide guidance on security best practices for all departments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

Certifications

• CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer

Languages

• English: Fluent
