Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator in Johannesburg who will play a crucial role in our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supply chain logistics, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the logistics network for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Track shipments and manage logistics information systems.
• Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the procurement team on supplier selection and performance.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on logistics performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
• Additional coursework in logistics or supply chain is desirable

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Inventory Management Systems
• Transport Management Software

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certification (APICS)

• English: Fluent
