Job Description

As a Food Cooking Machine Operator and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery essential for the wood processing industry. Ideal candidates should have prior experience with steam box machinery and a strong commitment to safety and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Run and oversee the operation of steam box machines, ensuring they function correctly.
• Adjust machine settings according to operational requirements.
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting on cooking machines.
• Collaborate with quality control team to meet production standards.
• Document production logs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Assist in achieving departmental production targets.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow safety protocols diligently.

Requirements

Education

• National Technical Certificate (N3) or equivalent

Experience

• Experience within the wood processing environment is a must.
