Job Description

As a valued member of our mental health team, the Psychologist will provide high-quality therapeutic support to diverse clientele. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations, designing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to assist individuals in achieving better mental health outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological tests and interpret results to inform treatment planning.
  • Facilitate workshops and support groups for clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to client families.
  • Contribute to community outreach programs related to mental health.
  • Document client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Educate clients on coping strategies and mental health awareness.
  • Advocate for client needs within and outside the organisation.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a psychologist
