Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a meticulous Quality Assurance Tester to join our vibrant technology team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through manual and automated testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated test scripts for critical software applications.
• Review and analyze test results to improve software quality.
• Work closely with the development team during sprints to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Facilitate continuous improvement within the testing process.
• Adhere to agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certification in Quality Assurance is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in software quality assurance roles.

Technical Skills

• TestRail
• Load Testing Tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving Skills
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Quality Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: Experience with AWS or Azure for test environment management.
