Job Description

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and potential interactions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses on patient medication plans.
• Conduct health screenings and offer wellness advice.
• Educate patients about lifestyle changes to improve health.
• Manage pharmacy operations and supervise support staff.
• Maintain pharmacy records and documentation.
• Stay updated on new medications and emerging therapies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
• Registration with SAPC is mandatory

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience
