We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in a variety of machine learning techniques to design and implement advanced algorithms and models aimed at solving complex real-world problems. You will collaborate with data scientists, developers, and business analysts to execute compelling AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead machine learning projects from conception to deployment.
• Assess and implement new algorithms and methodologies based on project requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to peer code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and model performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence is preferred

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks
