Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Durban team. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining production processes, improving quality standards, and ensuring the efficient use of resources. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing principles and practices, along with exceptional problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee machinery setup and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct training sessions on new processes and technologies.
• Evaluate new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate new practices into the manufacturing process.
• Prepare reports for management on production effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field
