As a Coping Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the coping machines used to cut and shape various materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality control.
Responsibilities
Set up and adjust coping machinery for production runs.
Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
Assist in training junior operators as needed.
Report any malfunctions to the production supervisor.
Support continuous improvement activities.
Participate in safety meetings and uphold workplace safety.
Use measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards.
Help develop and implement best practices for machine operation.
