Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you'll lead public health initiatives, address health disparities, and collaborate with community stakeholders in Cape Town to promote better health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning and execution of public health initiatives.
• Oversee data collection and analysis to inform health decisions.
• Lead community outreach efforts and health communications.
• Support health policy development at local government levels.
• Navigate challenges in health disparities and access.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve health issues.
• Conduct needs assessments to inform program design.
• Advocate for equitable healthcare access and services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in health program management

Certifications

• Certified Health Educator Specialist (CHES)

Languages
