User Experience Researcher

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate User Experience Researcher to join our dynamic Johannesburg team. In this role, you will conduct user research, analyze user behaviour, and collaborate with designers and developers to create intuitive interfaces. You’ll be instrumental in driving our UX strategies and ensuring our products meet user needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead user interviews and focus groups to understand user experiences.
• Conduct surveys to collect user feedback and insights.
• Work closely with developers to implement design changes based on research findings.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to test design concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall user experience.
• Report user experience metrics to the management team.
• Assist in creating an ongoing UX improvement strategy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Design, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in conducting user research

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with A/B Testing Tools: Proficiency in running A/B tests to optimise user interfaces.
