Join our fast-paced firm as a Tax Specialist in Pretoria where you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on tax compliance, planning, and reporting. You will develop and implement tax strategies to maximise efficiency while ensuring adherence to tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with South African tax laws and regulations.
• Act as the first point of contact for tax-related inquiries from clients.
• Provide recommendations on financial practices for tax efficiency.
• Analyze financial and operational data for tax implications.
• Draft and review tax policies and procedures.
• Participate in tax audits and negotiations with authorities.
• Monitor updates in tax legislation and advise on necessary changes.
• Optimize existing processes for tax compliance and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Further qualifications in Taxation or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in tax consultancy or professional accounting roles

• Tax Compliance

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
