Oil Dispatcher

Job Description

As an Oil Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation and delivery of oil products efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities, ensuring smooth operations within our dispatching team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transportation of oil products to assigned destinations.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.
• Conduct regular audits of dispatch processes and documentation.
• Support the dispatch supervisor in administrative tasks as required.
• Implement improvements to dispatch procedures to enhance performance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Further training in logistics or transport management is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years in a dispatching or logistics role within the energy sector.

Technical Skills

• GPS Tracking Systems

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Logistics Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of local road networks: Familiarity with Johannesburg's roadways for effective routing.
• Prior supervisory experience: Experience in leading teams would be advantageous.
