Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Actuary to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to assess risk and develop strategies to mitigate financial uncertainties. Your responsibilities will include conducting complex data analysis, pricing strategies, and informing clients about the implications of statistical findings.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain actuarial models in alignment with industry standards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing financial products.
• Monitor the accuracy of data used for transaction pricing.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Continually enhance knowledge of market trends and financial legislation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field
• Certifications from recognized actuarial bodies are highly advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant actuarial experience
