Job Description

As a Welfare Specialist, you will provide vital support and assistance to individuals and families in need, connecting them with essential resources and services. Your role will involve working collaboratively with other social workers and community organizations to ensure that clients receive the help they require.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments to determine client needs.
  • Provide guidance and support related to welfare issues.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Document all client interactions and updates diligently.
  • Facilitate workshops and community events to raise awareness.
  • Engage in fundraising activities to support the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Additional qualifications in trauma counseling preferred
