We are on the lookout for an experienced Tax Consultant to join our thriving team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in taxation principles and will provide expert advice to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement tax strategies to optimize clients’ financial positions.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely completion of tax filings.
• Advise clients on tax implications of their financial decisions.
• Support clients in tax planning and compliance efforts.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure holistic client service.
• Prepare tax provision calculations and financial reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Tax Practitioner (CTP) designation preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax consultancy or accounting

Technical Skills

• Tax Compliance
• Accounting Software (e.g., Pastel, Sage)

• Analytical Skills
• Client Relations

Certifications

• Advanced Certificate in Taxation

Languages

• English: Fluent
