DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale the cloud infrastructure to support new services.
• Work closely with the development team to facilitate continuous integration and delivery.
• Evaluate the performance of current systems and recommend improvements.
• Ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested.
• Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and improve cloud cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with security teams to maintain a secure environment.
• Facilitate training sessions on DevOps tools and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
