Job Description

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Data Scientist to enhance our analytics capabilities in Soweto. The successful candidate will employ various analytical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable insights, driving strategic initiatives across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data models and algorithms to drive business improvement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Extract, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
• Create visualizations to communicate findings and assist in data-driven decision making.
• Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data issues to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate analytical models into applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
