Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Officer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of patient care, ensuring each patient receives the attention they need. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, providing nursing care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient conditions.
  • Deliver nursing care and administer prescribed treatments.
  • Collaborate with doctors to create effective care plans.
  • Provide necessary education to patients and families regarding medical conditions.
  • Record and report changes in patients' conditions timely.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent infection.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care discussions.
  • Assist in research studies and clinical trials as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree in Nursing is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred
