Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Healthcare Administrator to manage daily operations within our healthcare facility in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in healthcare administration, and a passion for improving patient care. This role involves overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating communication between staff and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee administrative operations within the healthcare facility.
  • Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Support the implementation of electronic health record systems.
  • Coordinate scheduling and staffing for healthcare providers.
  • Review and enhance clinic policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Compile data for performance evaluations and audits.
  • Develop training programs for staff on new regulations.
  • Evaluate vendor contracts and negotiate terms.
  • Maintain and update healthcare facility's website and communications.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, preferably in Healthcare
  • Master's degree in Health Administration is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare administration or management
