Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Durban. This role involves ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing patient education, and contributing to a high standard of pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely dispensation of medications in line with prescriptions.
• Advise patients and caregivers on the safe use of medications, lifestyle modifications, and disease management.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance overall patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and medication adherence.
• Conduct medication therapy management sessions with patients.
• Manage pharmaceutical stock levels and reorder as necessary.
• Train and supervise pharmacy assistants on dispensary practices.
• Document pharmacy activities and report discrepancies to management.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.
