Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer at our facilities in George, you will be instrumental in enhancing our operational capabilities. You will analyze workflow, develop solutions to eliminate inefficiencies, and implement strategies that lead to improved productivity. Your expertise in engineering principles will guide your work with cross-functional teams to develop methods that effectively reduce costs and improve quality across our production lines.

Responsibilities

• Develop process maps to understand workflows and identify bottlenecks.
• Conduct process audits and lead root cause analysis for production issues.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
• Analyze data to track project progress and suggest adjustments.
• Work jointly with quality assurance teams to ensure product standards.
• Foster a culture of safety and adherence to regulations within all processes.
• Lead efforts to streamline supply chain management to improve efficiency.
• Prepare reports and presentations regarding process improvements and project outcomes.
• Liaise with vendors for equipment purchases or technology upgrades.
• Benchmark processes to ensure competitive standards are upheld.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial engineering setting
