Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Veterinarian to join our Bloemfontein team. Your mission will be to provide top-notch care to pets, conduct medical examinations, and implement treatment plans for various animal conditions. You will be working closely with pet owners to ensure their animals' well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments on animals and diagnose conditions.
• Execute surgical and medical interventions accurately.
• Guide pet owners in making informed decisions about their pet's health.
• Monitor trends in animal health and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with team to improve clinic protocols and patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Supervise veterinary technicians and assist in their training.
• Participate in veterinary consultations and community education.

Requirements

Education

• DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification

Experience

• 3+ years in a mixed animal practice preferred

• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM)
• Veterinary Behavior Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic

Advantageous

• Completion of a Veterinary Internship: Hands-on experience in a veterinary practice setting.
• Fluency in Additional Languages: Ability to communicate in Zulu or Xhosa is a plus.
