We are on the lookout for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge in process optimization and will be responsible for applying engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. The role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Analyse production workflows to streamline operations.
• Implement data-driven methodologies for problem-solving.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Support the procurement team in supplier selection based on engineering specifications.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in engineering roles with a focus on process optimization

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing
• Simulation Software

Certifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
