Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge in process optimization and will be responsible for applying engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. The role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with the production team to monitor progress and results.
• Utilize statistical methods to improve quality and reduce waste.
• Prepare documentation and reports on project status and results.
• Lead projects aiming at efficiencies and cost reductions.
• Engage in root-cause analysis to address production issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in engineering roles with a focus on process optimization
