Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge in process optimization and will be responsible for applying engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. The role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing manufacturing processes and make suggestions for enhancements.
• Develop system flow charts and process maps.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity and quality.
• Facilitate workshops for Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Create and maintain documentation related to processes and improvements.
• Communicate findings with stakeholders and provide data insights for decision-making.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in engineering roles with a focus on process optimization

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing

Certifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
