Job Description

As a Music Director and Composer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating musical elements for events. Your expertise will guide arrangements, facilitate collaborations, and ensure all productions are delivered seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Lead music arrangements for events, collaborating with various artists and performers.
• Manage technical aspects of musical productions, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Identify and source musical talents for events, conducting auditions as required.
• Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers related to music.
• Keep detailed records of all arrangements and communications for future reference.
• Train and mentor junior staff in music management and coordination.
• Evaluate performance metrics and feedback, adjusting processes to enhance future events.
• Curate playlists and music selections that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Facilitate rehearsals, providing guidance to performers on musical delivery.
• Assist in the development of innovative concepts for integrating music into events.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Music or Arts Management
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in music curation or event planning roles
