We are seeking a skilled Magnetometer Operator to join our dynamic research team. In this role, you will operate and maintain magnetometers, ensuring accurate data collection critical for our geological and environmental investigations.
Responsibilities
Conduct pre-survey checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Collect precise data using magnetometers while ensuring quality standards.
Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure the success of survey operations.
Interpret results to assist in geological assessments and planning.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed.
Collate data into comprehensive analysis reports for review and action.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Certification in Geophysics or relevant technical field is advantageous
Experience
Prior hands-on experience in geological surveys or mineral exploration is preferable.
