Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Magnetometer Operator to join our dynamic research team. In this role, you will operate and maintain magnetometers, ensuring accurate data collection critical for our geological and environmental investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-survey checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Collect precise data using magnetometers while ensuring quality standards.
• Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure the success of survey operations.
• Interpret results to assist in geological assessments and planning.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed.
• Collate data into comprehensive analysis reports for review and action.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Certification in Geophysics or relevant technical field is advantageous

Experience

• Prior hands-on experience in geological surveys or mineral exploration is preferable.
