Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Counsel patients on over-the-counter and prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication adherence and outcomes.
• Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians.
• Update patient profiles and medication records efficiently.
• Stay current with pharmaceutical research and innovations.
• Address patient inquiries regarding their medications.
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance programs.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant pharmacy experience

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacy
• Medication Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• SAPC registered

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous
