Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will provide technical support to our clients, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure the smooth running of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of networking, hardware, and software, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform routine maintenance on servers and network equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Assist in developing and implementing IT strategies.
• Participate in on-call support as required.
• Support users in the deployment of new applications.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Studies or related field
• Degree in IT or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support roles

Technical Skills

• Microsoft 365
• Remote Desktop Support

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Linux OS: Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command line.
• Experience with ticketing systems: Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
