Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising on legal matters, ensuring compliance, and mitigating legal risks while supporting our growing business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
• Review and improve legal processes to enhance efficiency.
• Support risk assessments and internal audits.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and constraints.
• Provide recommendations for legal compliance strategies.
• Conduct training on legal issues for staff.
• Assist in developing the legal budget and cost management.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or higher
• Master's in Law is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law
