The School Traffic Guard plays a vital role in safeguarding students at school drop-off and pick-up times. You will control traffic flow, ensuring the safety of children and pedestrians near school premises.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic using hand signals and cones.
• Help children safely cross streets during busy times.
• Ensure that parents and caregivers follow traffic rules.
• Report any maintenance issues with traffic signage or crossings.
• Participate in safety training and drills.
• Engage with the community to raise awareness about road safety.
• Communicate with students regarding safe behaviours around traffic.
