Structural Engineer

Job Description

In this role, you will analyze structural systems and provide valuable insights during the construction phase. The Structural Engineer must maintain compliance with industry standards and client specifications while pushing forward innovations in our engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and finalize construction documents.
• Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure adherence to the structural engineering design.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets for structural components.
• Liaise with clients regarding project progress and changes.
• Assist in mentoring junior engineers and engineering interns.
• Incorporate innovative solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability in designs.
• Identify issues and troubleshoot design-related problems.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in designing and overseeing construction projects

Technical Skills

• Reinforced Concrete Design
• Steel Structures

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Problem-solving

Advantageous

• Experience with building information modeling (BIM): Hands-on experience with BIM tools for efficient project modeling.
• Certification as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) or equivalent: A recognized engineering qualification and certificate of competency.
