We are on the lookout for a talented Structural Engineer to join our exceptional team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various structural projects, ensuring that all frameworks are safe, sustainable, and built to specification. Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations to ensure safety and durability of designs.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive project success.
• Review and optimize design methods and construction materials.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of project proposals.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior team members and provide peer reviews of work.
• Participate in regular project meetings to discuss progress and issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in structural design

• Finite Element Analysis Software
• Revit

Certifications

• Structural Engineering Certification
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
