We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in aerospace systems design, analysis, and testing. Responsibilities

• Lead design projects for aerospace systems.
• Analyze data from testing and simulations.
• Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace design or analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Aerospace Manufacturing Processes

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Leadership

Certifications

• NASA Aerospace Engineer Certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with UAV technology: Knowledge of unmanned aerial vehicle systems and application in aerospace.
• Experience with composite materials: Knowledge of the use and properties of composite materials in aerospace applications.
