Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Durban office. This position involves designing, implementing, and overseeing infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in enhancing the community while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of civil engineering infrastructure projects.
• Review and approve project plans and specifications.
• Ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within budget.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project success.
• Conduct regular inspections to oversee project progress.
• Liaise with local authorities to secure necessary permits.
• Utilise CAD software for design tasks.
• Prepare proposals and bids for new projects.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training where necessary.
• Maintain records of project documentation and correspondence.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering
