Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects including roads and bridges.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assessments for new projects.
• Develop and review engineering plans and specifications.
• Manage construction contracts and coordinate with contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
• Review and approve designs and calculations for accuracy.
• Prepare progress reports and notify clients of any potential issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in engineering project management

• Geotechnical Engineering
