Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at Civil Solutions Ltd., you will be involved in the assessment, design, and construction of various civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise will contribute to the improvement of urban environments and community spaces, making a positive impact on the region.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze site conditions, environmental impacts, and all relevant data for projects.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering designs.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and outline next steps.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation efficiently.
• Develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Act as a liaison with local government and regulatory agencies to secure project approvals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years of consulting experience in civil engineering projects

• Engineering Software

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Technologist (CET)
• Professional Engineer Registration in South Africa

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of local regulations: Familiarity with local engineering standards and regulations in South Africa.
