Blending Tank Helper

Job Description

The Blending Tank Helper will be responsible for assisting the blending tank operator in the manufacturing of various products. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring quality and efficiency in the blending process.

Responsibilities

• Assist blending tank operator with setup and adjustments of tanks as needed.
• Ensure timely execution of blending operations according to schedules.
• Maintain records of production parameters and any issues encountered.
• Perform routine equipment checks to ensure efficient operations.
• Support inventory management by reporting raw material usage.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.
• Assist with troubleshooting blending issues when they arise.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.
• Help coordinate preventive maintenance on blending equipment as scheduled.
• Engage in team-building activities to strengthen collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience working with blending tanks
• Basic knowledge of quality control principles

Soft Skills

• Ability to multitask

Advantageous

• Basic knowledge of quality control principles: Understanding of quality assurance methods related to production.
• Forklift license: Certification to operate a forklift may be beneficial.
