Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing investment portfolios, analyzing market trends, and implementing strategies that align with client objectives.

Responsibilities

• Construct and manage diversified investment portfolios tailored to client objectives.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to support investment recommendations.
• Engage proactively with clients to understand their financial goals and risk tolerance.
• Identify and assess emerging market opportunities and risks.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of portfolio performance and transactions.
• Participate in investment committee meetings to discuss strategies and insights.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff in the investment team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Master's degree or CFA designation preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in portfolio management or investment banking
