Accounting Supervisor

Job Description

As the Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee our accounting team and ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with applicable standards. This role calls for a detail-oriented approach and a strong understanding of financial processes, including budgeting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Assist in preparing tax returns and manage tax compliance.
• Implement processes to improve efficiency within the accounting department.
• Prepare financial forecasts and financial analysis for management.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial performance against forecasts.
• Ensure team adherence to deadlines and accountability for reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on management or supervisory roles.
