Set Up Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Set Up Inspector. The Set Up Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the proper setup and functioning of various equipment and machinery in our manufacturing facility. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for quality control.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify machinery setup documentation before production starts.
• Assist in troubleshooting machinery faults to minimize production delays.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during setup processes.
• Train team members on quality assurance practices.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices related to equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Technical qualification or apprenticeship in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, electrical) is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Meticulous attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and manuals
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
