Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT support, troubleshooting, and customer service. This role involves managing technical issues, assisting users, and maintaining IT infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Help users with software applications and IT tools.
• Ensure proper functioning of IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Monitor the performance of IT systems and suggest improvements.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies.
• Troubleshoot network issues related to connectivity and security.
• Compile reports on IT support metrics for management review.
• Assist with the implementation of IT upgrades and new systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support roles

• Active Directory Management
• Virtual Machine Management

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
