Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our vibrant Durban office. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cloud technologies, particularly in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure. This role will involve working closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud applications.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement new cloud technologies and solutions to improve infrastructure.
• Lead training sessions to enhance the team's cloud capabilities.
• Collaborate with vendors to assess and implement new tools and technologies.
• Perform regular audits of cloud architecture to ensure optimal performance and security.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant cloud certifications will be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud solutions and infrastructure

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes

Languages

• English: Fluent
