Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our vibrant Durban office. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cloud technologies, particularly in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure. This role will involve working closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications.
• Assist in the migration of on-premises applications to cloud environments.
• Optimise cloud costs and resource utilization through monitoring and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in the cloud.
• Provide technical support for cloud-related issues and incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant cloud certifications will be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud solutions and infrastructure

• Kubernetes

• English: Fluent
