Job Description

Join our team as an Environmental Engineer in Cape Town, where you'll lead and support diverse environmental projects aimed at conservation and sustainability. The role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations, assessment methodologies, and project management skills. You will work closely with governmental agencies, NGOs, and local communities to implement eco-friendly practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate environmental research and policy initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance on environmental legislation.
  • Review project proposals for environmental feasibility.
  • Engage in public consultation processes for environmental projects.
  • Implement monitoring programs for ongoing environmental projects.
  • Collaborate with NGOs on conservation efforts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is a plus

  • 5+ years of practical experience in environmental consulting or engineering
