Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Environmental Engineer to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions that address environmental challenges. You will be involved in assessing the environmental impact of projects, conducting site evaluations, and working collaboratively with various stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit environmental compliance documentation.
• Provide guidance on eco-friendly practices to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new environmental initiatives.
• Manage landfill and waste disposal operations.
• Advise on best practices for resource conservation and energy efficiency.
• Document and present findings to management and stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor environmental management systems.
• Support the development of corporate social responsibility programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Certification in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5 years of proven experience in the environmental sector
